Man’s thinking is the root of the loss of faith today. The modern world which correctly should be described as the modern “age” ceases to believe in the supernatural, that which is beyond human reason, power, nature and reach. It is also the age of unbelief in certainties and objective absolutes. The Christian religion is centred on God’s Spirit and Character therefore it is supernatural. It is the bridge to God. But modern thinking ceases to believe the supernatural in favour of the natural. Objective, law based codes of morality are being replaced by the subjective and relativism.
